Revival Train
Revival Train is a family Christian band featuring with Veronica Alkali (mother, leader and mentor), and her children Sunny, Ralph, Susan and Michael.  As the founder and leader of the band, Veronica started her singing ministry after a divine revelation from the Lord God to play music to Him prior to the birth of her children.

As the years went by, she held on tight to the vision and promise of God that, even when the children came in she didn't relent, but involved them in her music ministry at a very early age. This involvement created a very strong bond between Veronica and her children.  A bond that has been instilled into her children themselves, that they now all carry with them as they perform and share their outstanding music with the world.

8 Hour Drive

Rich Hering and Barry Best are the producing team behind "8 Hour Drive", who have enjoyed long and interesting creative careers, collaborating with some of the most successful artists in popular music. The following is a list of acts with which Barry and Rich have worked, either in the studio or on stage:

38 Special, Alabama, Ambrosia, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Bob Seger, Brad Paisley, Christina Aguilera, Christopher Cross, Eddie Money, Foghat, Grand Funk Railroad, Kansas, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Greenwood, Little Big Town, Little River Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Martina McBride, Merle Haggard, Molly Hatchett, Percy Sledge, Peter Frampton, Poco, Pure Prairie League, REO Speedwagon, Rick Springfield, Roger Daltry, Ronnie Milsap, Styx, The Beach Boys, The Coasters, The Doobie Brothers, The Drifters, The Guess Who, The Lettermen, The Platters, The Temptations, Three Dog Night, Three Doors Down, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, War, Wynonna Judd, and many many more, including Indie Music Channel artist Ryan Daniel, of whose song Rich and Barry won Producers of the Year last year at the Indie Music Channel Awards.

Born and raised on a farm in South Georgia, Rich Herring was first exposed to country music exclusively. Guitar players like Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, and Glen Campbell were the first to make an impression. He started guitar lessons at age 10, but only studied formally for a few years. The rest was learned by listening. Rich played guitar and drums in various bands, bass in high school jazz ensemble, and by his early twenties he was writing and recording his own music. He became a proficient guitarist, bass player, engineer and programmer.

In 1994 Rich signed an artist writer deal with Curb Records in Nashville. Since then he has found his niche as not only a guitar and bass player in the studio, but performing live with many well known artists. Several of his songs have found their way to radio, movies and television, and he has produced records for artists on Curb, MCA, and other independent labels. He opened a studio in downtown Nashville in 2003, where he produced countless songwriter demos, custom albums and award winning jingles for radio and television.

In 2006, Rich was hired as lead guitarist for "Little River Band", and still tours with the band currently. He has coproduced the last four Little River Band albums.

Much of Rich’s “musical education” was acquired from spending time with Barry Best, soaking up knowledge on arranging, recording, singing, and producing. They played in multiple groups together including their own duo, “The Dream Team”. Recently, they teamed up again to produce Ryan Daniel’s album, “Back For More”, an appropriate title for the first effort of a new partnership between old friends.

Born in Flint, Michigan, Barry Best began his study of music with private piano lessons at age 9. After graduating high school, his band appeared on the same bill with such seminal acts as Bob Seger, Iggy Pop, The MC5, Grand Funk Railroad, and Ted Nugent. In the early 70’s Barry moved to Los Angeles, where he did session work and played regularly on the Sunset Strip. Barry made the move to Toronto, Ontario after being offered the position of keyboardist and music director with Canadian group "Edward Bear", who’s hit "The Last Song” was number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

In 1993, he accepted a position with Air Force Entertainment as an arranger for their premiere entertainment troupe, Tops In Blue. In 2000 he was promoted to Music Director for Air Force Entertainment.

In addition to his work with the Air Force, Barry has produced several projects, including background vocals for Lea Michele’s performance of "America The Beautiful" for Superbowl XLV (at the time the most-watched event in television history) and musical arrangements for the Diamonds and the Glenn Miller Band. Additionally, Barry has also produced music for local and regional radio and television ads and independent album projects.

In 2017 Barry was nominated for the 2017 Indie Music Channel’s Producer of the Year award, and has won the 2018 Producer Of The Year award this year, along with Rich, for their production of Ryan Daniel's hit single "Like America" from Ryan's new album "Back For More".  Besides Ryan Daniel, they continue to devote their time working with independent artists, such as singer/songwriter Kayla Outlaw and many others.
